Aus der Tatsache, dass Du offenbar nur eine Festplatte hast, schließe ich, dass Du kein Raid-Verbund hast.
Wenn das richtig ist, solltest Du mal versuchen, direkt von der Original-XP-CD zu booten. Normalerweise erkennt XP SP2 die Sata-Platten, die ohne Raid laufen, auch ohne spezielle Sata-Treiber eines Drittanbieters (z.B. VIA).
Wenn Du jedoch Deine Festplatte nur mit aktiviertem Raid betreiben kannst, musst Du vermutlich die SataRaid-Treiber von VIA einbinden.
Soweit ich das übersehe, tragen die neuesten Raid-Treiber die Versionsnummer 5.30C.
