Moin,

so in ca. 12h werde ich meinen schönen Chieftec Tower aufbrechen müssen...
Daher nochmal die Frage an alle Versierten hier:
Ich habe gestern 6h lang probiert die ver....... S-ATA/Promise Treiber in die CD einzubinden über alle drei Tools NLite, Vitaly Graf usw.
Ich gebe nun auf, habe aber das Problem, dass ich kein FloppyLaufwerk mehr habe.
Was kann ich statt F6 und Diskette machen?
Habe einen neuen USB Memory Stick gekauft, der auch bootfähig ist.
Jemand noch ne Idee?
Habe ein ASUS K8V Deluxe als Board, welcher 2 Promise und 2 VIA Sata (S-Ata) Anschlüsse hat.
Meine einzige Platte hängt am VIA SATA und x64 erkennt ihn nicht beim Booten von CD, um zu installieren...
Im Normal Betrieb von XP32 Prof (hatte Unilizenz, die abgelaufen ist und daher x64 neu gekauft) habe ich den Promise Controller sogar deaktiviert, damit das booten schneller geht.

Bitte helft!

PS: Mach ich was beim Einbinden falsch? Unter Kontroller/Driver einfach die .oem einbinden (gibt ja beide als beta jetzt bei ASUS) und dann auswählen, was eingebunden werden soll. Schaut alles gut aus und es scheint mit x64 zu klappen, weil er davor über die falschen Treiber gemeckert hat - aber inzwischen 6 CDs gebrannt und es läuft nicht.
